Original CD's
Joan wrote and produced two CD's of original music in the early 2000's that were in a more progressive, singer-songwriter style. Dress Of Dawn was released in 2000 and had a dark cabaret, jazz, type vibe. The haunting title track has been compared to the uniqueness of a Sondheim tune. Two years later, Joan went back into the studio with another group of originals and this time only a few songs songs are reminiscent of the dark, haunting, jazzy style of Dress of Dawn. Instead we get a mix of styles ranging from the march like rock tune, Fairy Tale, to the easy listening, Americana style of Drive So Free. Both of these Cd's stand the test of time, they are as fresh today as they were when first released. You can watch some live performances of the music Here.
