One of my students discovered the Halvorsen version and I then showed him the original, Handel version. It has become very popular with younger players so I took favorite Handel variations and combined it with 2 of the Halvorsen variations. This student performed it in an evaluation program for the Music Educators Association of NJ and received a lovely critique from the judge. It is a nice combo of both pieces, combining the Baroque with a little more of the 20th century accompaniment style from the Halvorsen. EASY TO READ CLEAN NOTATION
