This is a composition written for solo piano in a modern classical style. It is the first movement of The Anniversary Suite composed by Joan Bujacich. The composition employs jazz harmonies, yet it is very classical in its pianism. The LH bass uses rolling open chord patterns against a fair amount of  parallel chord work in the RH. The rhythm shifts at times between 6/4 and 4/4. Challenging enough to make a good sound but still within reach for young pianists who enjoy pieces like Amelie by Yann Tiersen and Nuvolle Bianche by Ludovico Einaudi.
