Heaven Shoud Be, Cami Hall; mid 1990's. The song was originally done in a rock style and was then arranged for violin cello and voice in a more contemporary style. Gretchen Gonzales was featured on cello, Marco Vitalli on violin and Joan Bujacich sang.Gretchen Gonzalez played with the NJ symphony and performed on several other of Joan Bujacich's works, including Big Sky. Gretchen sadly passed away several years after this performance. It is a blessing to have her on several recordings and in several videos by Ms. Bujacich.
Joan Bujacich and Joe Bilotti performing Joan's original Song, Serenade.
Here are two short clips from the video "The Boxer". I wrote the music for dancer, Joe Orrach, which was then performed in the Wintergarden Theater in Berlin in the show Nachte Monde directed by David Shiner. (It was also performed on many other occasions.) I can only share short clips of the video performance due to licensing restrictions. Full audio clips will be coming soon.
An original composition for 2 violins, viola and cello written by Joan Bujacich. Images set to music by Joan Bujacich. Only a synthesized version is available at this time, hopefully a quartet will pick up the piece and a recording with real instruments will be recorded at a later date. You can purchase the sheet music for this composition in The Store.
Joan Bujacich (Joanie Beau) performs this Joni Mitchell original in her own fashion. Different than Joni Mitchell's original recording of this beautiful song it is more in the style of a recent Joni Mitchell recording where she does orchestral versions of standards and a few of her originals. This was performed in a concert in an amphitheater in Montclair , NJ. This is one of the few covers Joanie Beau includes in her original shows because she really loves this song and it works for her voice so well.
